Art Information

Camera Ready Art

Camera ready art is required before production can begin on any new order. Camera ready art is a black on white PMT or a clean black copy on white paper laser printed at 600 dpi resolution or higher. Color separations are not useable in the production of our products.

Electronic Art

All type must be converted to paths or outlines; all art and logos must be converted to paths.

We accept the following media: 3.5" floppy, 100MB Zip disks, CDs and electronic mail. If you have any questions regarding submitting digital files, please contact sales@berlekamp.com.

Note

When camera ready art is not submitted with an order, we reserve the right to ask for better artwork or to produce it ourselves at a cost of $40.00 (V) per hour. We will then submit a paper proof that must be signed and returned before production can begin.

Design Information

The following information is provided to help create the best image possible in an injection molded item.

Size Calculation

All custom design items are priced by size, not by design. To calculate the size, measure the height and multiply it by the length to calculate the square inch area.

1.25" x 4.75" = 5.9 square inches

Printing and Processes

For exterior applications when a foil color is not available, or when a color match is requested, we will use acrylic ink to coat the raised area of the item.

Also used for interior applications when a color match is requested. Color Match: $175.00 (X).

Due to variables in plastic and foil formulations, subtle color changes can occur beyond our control. Therefore, perfect color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Pebbled Background

Extra Color Charges

Color registration applies when printing colors that are separated by approximately 1/16".

Flat printing applies when colors are adjacent to each other with no separation.
